Cheer Clinic

  • Who:  All kids ages 5 to 13
  • When:  June 22, 9:00am-12pm 
  • Location:  Fenton Gym
  • Registration Deadline:  Thursday, June 13
  • Included with camp:  Top Quality Instruction, T-shirt, Popsicles
  • Coaches:  Lewiston High School varsity cheer coach Heidi Hagen, current and former college cheerleaders and high school cheerleaders
  • The Clinic has been designed for youth to participate and succeed in a skill teaching setting. The Academy introduces and builds the basic fundamentals of cheer leading so each participant gets the opportunity to learn and improve their skills and knowledge of all aspects of cheerleading.
  • The skills covered include:  dancing, tumbling, stunting, crowd leading and jumping. The Clinic also teaches the important cheer leadership characteristics of teamwork, encouragement and spirit. During the Clinic all children will be separated into groups and rotated through different cheer stations.
  • During the clinic children will be separated into similar age groups to receive training that relates specifically to them. As always there will be a strong emphasis on safety and FUN!
