Scholarship Committee
As members of the Scholarship Committee, we are concerned about the development of the youth in our valley. For that reason, we support the Boys & Girls Clubs of The Lewis Clark Valley. They are the positive place for kids to go in their spare time, to meet new friends, have fun, and to stay out of trouble.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of The Lewis Clark Valley makes the promise that no child will be turned away, and thanks in large part to the Scholarship Committee, it is true! The Scholarship Committee is made up of men and women who take an active part in the Clubs by granting scholarships "to children who cannot afford the minimal cost of program fees themselves”. Because the youth of today can become the leaders of tomorrow or a burden on our communities, it is up to us to make the difference. We believe that our legacy is to give our children a better life, a caring community, and a hopeful future.
Money for our scholarship fund is raised through donations and several special events throughout the year. Anyone can belong to the Scholarship Committee, whether you’ve attended the Club as a youngster or not. So please, join us in the opportunity to provide a better future and a safe place for the children of our valley.
