Camp Wittman

Camp Wittman is operated by the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Lewis Clark Valley. It is located approximately 25 miles south of Lewiston Craig Mountain. Our small but functional camp can accommodate between 20 to 25 youth. It is our intent to offer your child a more personalized camp atmosphere, yet provide those conveniences we all desire.Camp Wittman has no electricity, however, solar powered and propane facilities make the outdoor setting quite comfortable. There are separate cabins for boys and girls. Each cabin has lighted restrooms, and shower facilities are also available. All activities are "under roof" in order to accommodate rainy day programs with no delays.
In 1986 Wittman Farms offered the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Lewis Clark Valley the use of a small section of the families' mountain property to utilize for a camp. A lot has been done since those first two summers in tents at "Camp Wittman". Dorms, an archery range, covered campfire area, a kitchen and dining area, a shower house, and a water system were just the beginning. In 1996 ground broke for the "Natural Resource Education center Lodge". Consequently this fulfilled a dream to offer a quality educational format with the recreation and allowed us to formalize Outdoor/Natural Resource studies with the LC-Valley school districts. Now complete with natural gas utilities and lighting along with solar power the camp provides many recreational, team-building, and educational opportunities.
