Summer Program

Our Summer Program is a safe place for children 5 years of age (in Kindergarten) to 18 years of age to go during the summer, and be influenced by positive adult role models. Our hours are 7:30 am to 5:30 pm Monday-Friday. Qualified staff provides structured activities in several areas of learning and fun. Scholarships are available, so that the program is affordable for everyone. Programs include: indoor-outdoor athletic activities, games room tournaments, arts & crafts projects, computer fun, and educational activities in our Education Center. Also please remember the summer ends August 19^th and members must renew their membership for the school year. For more information about our program and our policies and procedures please pick up a Membership Handbook at the front counter. Reminder, to best serve your child this facility is not a daycare facility; it is intended to provide youth development programs.

Summer Membership Fee

This membership fee is Free of Charge specifically for Lapwai Clubhouse Members.

Hours of operation are 7:30 am to 5:30 pm.

There is no additional cost for the Lapwai Clubhouse Program.

Summer Lunch Program

This summer we will be providing a free lunch, thanks to the Lapwai School District, to all Club members. We will walk all of our club members to the Lapwai Elementary cafeteria for lunch at 11:30 and we will return to the club at 12:30pm. The Clubhouse will be closed during this lunch hour. If your child chooses not to eat the provided lunch they may bring a sack lunch. We ask that you do not send any food items that require our staff or your child to cook, microwave or to prepare at the Club. I.E., Top Ramen, Frozen Food, etc.

"Outside the Club” Activities

The "Outside the Club” Activities will begin at 1:00 pm and end at 3:30 pm.

(We will leave from the clubhouse for activities at 12:30pm and will return to the clubhouse by 4pm)

Outside Activities are offered to enhance our Summer Program and are not designed to be our Summer Program.

For a child to be able to attend, payment must be made with club member present at the club before Noon on the day of the activity (please do not sign up over the phone).We begin signing members up at 7:30am and continue until Noon or until the list is full. There are 13 seats available for each activity. If a member has participated in that event the day before and would like to participate the next day, they will be put on waiting list to ensure that all club membershave the opportunity to participate in activities. Waiting list participants will bump up to available seats if there are no new participants to take those seats. Members that sign up and pay first will be added to the activity list. We prefer that you do not pick up your child from special events, but we realize that at times, this may be necessary. Please notify the staff at the Club and the staff at the event site. There will be no refunds or credits given for missed activities.

Activity costs: $5.00 for the Aquatic Center, Skating & Bowling – $6.00 for Movie
