Our program has grown to become the largest and most popular youth athletic program in our valley. Last year alone we had over 3,100 players, 300 teams and 500 volunteer coaches participating in our leagues!
Our plan is to continue to provide flag football and soccer leagues this fall 2020 with increased health & safety measures due to COVID-19. We will use the following resources in providing the safest possible environment for our kids, staff & parents:
1.) Local & State guidelines from the Health Departments.
2.) Local & State recommendations (based on the current stage/phase we are in throughout the season.
3.) IHSAA Guidance for Opening Up High School Athletics and Activities
Our league is designed for kids of all ages & abilities to participate and succeed in a team setting. We are dedicated to helping young people become the best players and people they can be. We teach youth to play at a higher skill level, with confidence and to have FUN doing it!
ATHLETE FIRST, WINNING SECOND
Places skill development, sportsmanship, teamwork, and fun ahead of winning.
We select and train excellent monitors & referees and expect them to be impartial officials of every game played. Good sportsmanship requires the willingness to accept and abide by the decisions of all officials. Please remember, officials are human and will make mistakes, just like a player will miss a shot.
Coaches are trained volunteers who attend a pre-season information meeting/clinic and are given various resources to aid them throughout the season. Visit our Coaches Corner under the Athletics tab for more information. Volunteers Are Needed! Without coaches, the kids cannot participate and our programs cannot succeed. Please find a coach for your school’s team or consider coaching yourself.
Skill development is crucial to success. We train coaches to teach and build basic fundamentals of the game. This gives each participant the opportunity to progress each season while improving their overall skills and knowledge.
The energy, enthusiasm and positive environment of our program bring excitement to players allowing them to develop as athletes and people while having fun.
Participation in all club programs including athletics requires a current Club Membership ($25 annual fee that runs through the school year). The athletic program fee starts at $60.00 (Flag Football – $70), which includes a T-shirt. Discount of $5 for each additional child registering from the same household. LATE Participation after the registration deadline cannot be guaranteed. Late registrations may be taken for an additional $10.00 fee.
