Our School Year Program is a safe place for children 5 to 18 years of age to go after school, and be influenced by positive adult role models (5 year olds must be in Kindergarten & may attend on a trial basis). Our hours areMonday thru Friday 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Qualified trained staff professionals provide structured activities in several areas of learning and fun. Scholarships are available so the program is affordable for everyone. Programs include: indoor-outdoor athletic activities, games room tournaments, arts & crafts projects, computer fun, and Power Hour Homework Program. Also, please remember the school year ends June 3rd, 2016 and members must then register for the Summer Program. For more information about our program and our policies and procedures, please pick up a Membership Handbook at the front counter. Reminder, this facility is not a daycare; it is intended to provide youth development programs.
Participation in this program or any program offered at the Boys & Girls Club requires a current Club membership. The membership fee is a one-time fee for the year. The cost is $25.00 per child. We do not have a sliding membership fee scale for multiple family members. Hours of operation vary depending on the program attending. Memberships run from September-August. Scholarships are available for those who qualify. Inquire at the Front Counter.

The Club has an “Open Door” Policy
Staff will not give permission for members to leave the Club, nor do they insist they stay. The decision as to when a member arrives and leaves the Boys & Girls Club, and with whom, is a matter between the parent and child. The staff assumes NO responsibility or liability as to custody, care and control. All members must have the physical, mental and emotional maturity to act and interact independently and responsibly.
Please remind your child to sign in when they arrive & sign out when they leave on the computer at the front counter. This is a helpful tracking tool for parents and staff but is the responsibility of the member to carry out. Club members must be picked up and signed out by closing time!! Failure to do so could result in loss of membership.
“Outside the Club” Activities
The Club will occasionally go on “Outside the Club” Activities. For a child to be able to attend, payment must be made before the day of the activity. We prefer that you do not pick up your child from special events, but we realize that at times, this may be necessary. Please notify the staff at the Club and the staff at the event site. There will be no refunds or credits given for missed activities. Activity costs will vary depending on the activity.
Please discuss with your child if and when he/she has permission to attend “Outside the Club” Activities. There is not adequate time in the day to allow each member to call for permission. The staff will trust the member’s decision to attend or not.
Health & Accidents
In the event of an emergency, a staff will attempt to contact parents using the information on the registration form. Please keep your home, work, and emergency contact information current. In fairness to your child and others, please do not send your child to the Club when he/she is ill. Staff will notify a parent as soon as possible if your child becomes ill while at the Club. If a parent cannot be reached, Club staff will assess the situation and make the necessary decisions for the safety of the child.
Fee Based Programs
The Boys & Girls Clubs offer additional fee based programs during the school year which may incur additional costs. Examples of these programs are the Athletic Programs, Early Bird Program, Kindergarten Program, Club Cab Transportation Program and Outside the Club Activities. Check with the Club you are registering with the specifics of these programs. We do not pro rate our Monthly Programs into daily or weekly fees regardless of the amount of days used. All fees must be paid in advance of the month attending. Refund requests are done on a case by case basis. It is our policy to not allow a refund once our service has been provided and a member has already started to participate in our programs. If a refund is issued please allow 7-10 days for processing.

Reduced fees are available to families based on specific eligibility criteria. Inquire at the front counter for more information. Proof of eligibility (Free or Reduced Lunch Form from School District) is required before we can process the membership or reduce the program fee. Scholarships are not given for fees already paid. For families and youth needing financial assistance with program fees, we offer the following:
- If the child is on the free lunch program at school, all Fee Based Programs are reduced in half and must be paid up front. If the child is on the reduced lunch program at school, all Fee Based Programs are reduced by ¼ and must be paid up front. The ColorTyme Scholarship doesn’t pay for any fee based programs.
We encourage members not to bring items of value to the Club. We also encourage members to take responsibility for all of their personal belongings. The Boys & Girls Club and staff are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
