2019 Annual Awards Banquet

The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Lewis Clark Valley and P1FCU honored outstanding youth members, staff and volunteers at their Annual Awards Dinner on Friday, January 18th, at the Clarkston Quality Inn. In 2018 the Club served over 5,900 youth in our community, and this event was an opportunity to recognize the dedicated individuals who make that outreach happen. The event was sponsored by P1FCU.
Pedrina and Styner Go Pro

The tradition of LCSC athletes turning professional continues…sort of. Standout track athlete Jesse Styner, and slugging baseball star Ray Pedrina have both signed on to become Club Professionals, at the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Lewis Clark Valley. The Warrior duo will be tag teaming the management and oversight of the Club’s athletic programs, which include fall soccer, fall flag football, winter basketball and spring soccer.
Open Site Food Service Programs

The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Lewis Clark Valley announces the sponsorship of an Open Site Summer Food Service Program for children. Meals are available at no charge to children 18 years of age and younger and will be offered June 11th through August 16th during open Club program hours*. Meals are open to all Club member and non member youth.

One of the conventional definitions of the term “philanthropy” is a private initiative for the public good. Locally, that private initiative has been in practice for many years, compliments of Gary & Jutta Hughes. Since 1997, the Hughes’ have been providing financial support to many local nonprofit agencies, including the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Lewis Clark Valley. And…they have once again shown their support for the Clubs by announcing a contribution to the Clubs in the amount of $1 million dollars.
